What's a Shofar?

The Shofar is a musical horn made by the ancient Hebrews.
It was used during holy rites, to call assembly or signal a sacrifice.
It was also used as a call to war.

Today it is used during holy days such as Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur.

Christians also use the Shofar to honor God.

What's it made of

The Shofar is usually made of animal horn, but sometimes synthetic ones can be found.
Most are made from a ram or Kudu Antelope horn.
